PENICK HALL OF SCIENCE. This build- ing was constructed in 1950. It was named in honor of the late Bishop Edwin A. Penick, Bishop of the Diocese of N. C. Its design is in perfect harmony with the rest of the campus. 'I I r io 5 A9 --wars: TAYLOR HALL. Was constructed in 1912. It serves an all over purpose on the carnpusg such as the Little Theater, our weekly social dances, auditorium and many others before the new gymnasium was constructed. XXX HERMITAGE BUILDING - was constructed in 1914. It furnishes oHice space for the language lab- oratories, living quarters, and the infirmary. There are also various other offices situated in this build- lng. TNJLQL' V 4 , 5 QM .- STUDENT CENTER. This three story structure furnishes countless recreational activities for the stu- dent body of our college. It also contains the oilices of the Pen Staff. CHAPEL. The college chapel was constructed in 1895. It is a beautiful stone structure which serves as a place of wor- ship for the student body and faculty.
