Dedication I. We the members of the Senior Class of 1960, with deep gratitude, dedicate this annual to Mrs. Maude Smith and the memory of Mr. Walter Kenan our classmate. This is more than a dedication of a college annual. This is more than a trivial honor. This is more than a college courtesy. This is the dedication of our cherished memories to a very dear friend. This is a dedication of our hopes and dreams to an honest emulation of her who has been an inspiration to all of us. Your friendly smile and kindly heart is an encouragement to all. Your genuine interest and enthusiasm is an inspiration and your willing co-operation an incentive to greater accomplishments. In times of discouragement and fear, you gave us hope, in times of need and want. you gave us succorg in times of bereavement, you gave us comfort and soothed us with the warmth and gentleness of a parent.
