FOREWORD We, the Senior Class of 1957, have attempted to preserve for you some of the highlights of the enjoyable years which we have spent here at Saint Augustine's College. The joys and sorrows we have experienced will long be remembered by each of us. We want to share with you some of these unforgettable events which we hope will be beneficial to you in many ways We profit from the experiences of others Keeping this 1n mind we hope that the 1957 FALCON will serve as a beacon light to guide you in your future endeavors The yearbook staff has worked hard in the preparatlon of this book but it has been much fun We sincerely hope our efforts will stimulate each of you to continue to uphold the standards of our college EUGENE S SCHUMPERT Editor S

DEDICATION To you, Dean Dickens, we dedicate this collection of our fondest memories, representing four years of toil, success, and most of all, happiness. We thank you very much for the love and attention which you have so willingly given us. With- out your guidance, the achievements which we have made would not have been possible. For this, we cannot find adequate words to express our appreciation and gratitude. We, therefore offer our most treasured possession-the 1957 FALCON -which we feel in a small way, will say, we thank you. There are several reasons why you have been chosen dedicatee of our yearbook, and all of them are sound, yet, too numerous to state in the space allocated for this dedication. Suffice it to say, however, that the type of guidance which you have given us, has made it possible for us to see through ourselves, that we might know ourselves. When the shadows of age begin to move gradually and increasingly upon us, we will still have this spot deeply imbedded in our hearts, thanking and remembering you for your helpful services.
