Prmcnmlir M6f5dg6 Dear Graduate, My parting message, as usual, is always about the same. The ideal in your entire life is an acquired consciousness in school of trying at all times to do THE WILL OF GOD. Life for you and me is nothing more. And it is not a matter of inditferenceg it must be made a matter of habit, a habit firmly rooted through an under- standing of what is important and necessary to salvation and what is not. Life, to be worthwhile, satisfying, and happy must be lived and viewed only through one lens, His lens, in order that the magnification be correct, the aim, clear, and the object in focus. We can fool ourselves with a nearsighted or farsighted view with- out the mirror, but the image is distorted. This is the philosophy that you have been taught in school, and it is this attitude of doing His Will that inevitably results in giving Him the greatest amount of Honor and Glory. In addition, reverence is a beautiful virtue that we imbibe as a part of our religious training. Carry this virtue into your home, into your way of dressing, into your choice of recreation, into every habit you acquire. Vulgarity, immodesty, intemperance and a host of vices will never find an entrance into the heart of a reverent girl. Your religious duties: Holy Mass, frequent Communion, daily morning and evening prayers will be habits you can never forego. The Sacred Heart and Our Lady will protect and guard you and your life in the end will not have been in vain. This is my daily prayer for you and yours. Sister Mary Margaret, 0.S.F.
