if H 4 I I I I I Saints . . . to a student it means the center of his life now. . .to an alumnus it means the source of fond memories. But as each year passes and today's students become tomorrow's alumni, Saints continues to fulfill the task which led to its institution thirty-seven years ago - the Catholic education of youth. Promoting this great heritage are the Augustinian Fathers, who brought to Saint Augustine High School at its conception in 1924, a rich tradition which has its roots in the inspiration and genius of that great Bishop and Doctor of the Church, Saint Augustine. It was from this great man's example of interest in youth and zeal for intellectual pursuit that the Order of Saint Augustine received its impetus.
