The San Diego Zoo has long been world-acclaimed as San Diego's great- est attraction and city trademark. With such a favorable landmark in our own neighborhood, the SAINTSMAN 1960 has chosen A Tour of the Zoo as its theme. On each division page, a pic- ture has been placed that is most ap- propriate for the situation. We hope that you, the reader, will look upon the theme with such humorous observations as we did, because, after all, it is said that animals only show a reflection of human nature. Father Glynn, besides being counsellor, teacher and disciplinarian for 19 years here at Saints, was also a cherished friend to us all. Father Glynn came to Saintsil9 years ago. Since that time he has acted as a teacher in such subiects as geometry and Latin. He has acted as a counsellor by helping the many students who otherwise would have been lost in the crowd. As disciplinarian Father worked constantly for the betterment of student behavior on and off campus. S t F A g Father was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts and educated at St. Johnlg'gs.VPrep School in Danvers, Massachusetts, Later he attended Villanova Collegefygand' the Catholic University at Washington D.C. lt was here in 1939 thathe was ordained as a priest in the Order of St. Augustine. 'S S A , The students of Oiai are indeed fortunatesto receive such a man as a member of their faculty. Those of us who know Father Glynn are sure that he will go straight to the hearts of his new studentslas he has gone straight to ours and there remain forever. -
