The selling of magazines has been a tradition for the juniors at S.A.H.S. for a number of years. The juniors work hard on this fund raising project to earn money for a successful Junior'Senior Prom and Senior Banquet. Each year they strive hard to reach the goal they set for themselves. The goal set this year was 58,000. The Miss S.A.H.S. pageant. which is sponsored annually by the sophomore class, took place on February 7th. The pageant serves two main purposes, one of which is to raise money for the sophomore class. The other purpose is for the girls to gain confidence in themselves and have fun at the same time. They are judged in various categor- ies. Among these are poise, per- sonality, casual wear and formal wear. lt was very hard for the judges because of the large se- lection of pretty girls. 1.
