The students in the music depart- ment classes have really displayed their talents this year. The march- ing band, stage band, chorus and choir are made up of hard work- ing musicians and vocalists who performed at various functions throughout the year. The marching band added excitement to all of the football games by playing and performing field shows. The marching band joined forces with the stage band and the chorus and choir to present an excellent Christmas program. Following the program the chorus and choir tuned in on the Christmas spirit by caroling through the halls. Try not to sing the words from 'Get Up and Go' this timel These were just a few of the comments that could be heard in the auditorium while skit rehearsals were being held. ln the end all the hard work and planning was worth it as the curtains were pulled on the night of October 30, l980 and A Night in the Past unfolded. The competition was tough and as the night came to an end the Junior Class edged out the Seniors by seven points for first place and the sophomores finished third. 5. ' 7,
