St. Augustine High School students are always glad to donate their time to the community. When Don Alfonso de Borbon-Dampierre, Duke of Cadiz and Anjou visited St. Augustine on October l, the R. O. T. C. was on hand to lend military presence and dignity to the occasion. The band was called upon to perform at the dedication of the Tournament Players Championship golf facility at Ponte Vedra. The Special Olympics got a boost this year from en- thusiastic SAHS cheerleaders who taught the kids cheers and assisted with other facets of the event. Through stu- dent blood drives over forty pints of blood were made available to the St. Johns County Blood Bank. These are but a few examples of the many ways in which SAHS sup- ports the community.
