5t. Auyuslihc High Selma! 5t. Augustina ?lm'da nxggg-IQM EL CASTI LLO To the students of St. Augustine High School the members of the 196431 Castillo staff offer this record of school memories in the hope that with each passing year the moments we have attempted to capture here will be more highly treasured - that the kind of spirit that leads a team to victory, that means caring about grades and classmates will fill your lives as it does the pages of this book . . . mm , M - ' DEDICATION We, the class of 1964, dedicate this yearbook to a man who has dedicated himself to us. No one is prouder of Students, more enthusiastic at sports events, or more considerate of the needs of our school. His interest is centered on the schools Thanks to him we are no fools. He works so hard at a foot- ball game, Trodding the sidelines has gained him fame. At basketball games in his served seat His enthusiasm would be hard to beat. The best we could bequeath at this year's end Is that students following will know our friend. They'll enjoy school only partly Unless they're lucky and know MI. Hartley. W. He is a person, a human being like the rest of us. A teacher is much mind. He is more heart, patience, and devotion. In this world it is a fine thing to have knowledge. Then we began by holding regu- lar Monday meetings opened to all and those who were unable to at- tend could mollify themselves by reading the minutes that wetfaosted on the student bulletin board. For the benefit of the students as well as teachers a storeroom was operated. Another activity was the pre- sentation of a Good Citizenship Award to a deserving student during each each National Honor Society Assembly.
