Have you ever walked through the halls at night When they 're empty of people and empty of light? When voices seem to echo from out of the walls The whispers of ghosts long gone from these halls. Sometimes you can hear shouts and the clapping of hands As they cheer other teams from their seats iii the stands, Or see them cry at their team's first loss And know that they were no different from us. But soon they fade as fast as they 'd come And suddenly you realize how fast it's all done. How soon you must answer the future's call And become like the rest, just a ghost in the hall.
