A common practice for many is for students to make 21 visit to the church during the lunch hour each day. It is here also that a great many students their school day, by attending Mass. I i Jmewmal, Progress for a greater tomorrow is the keynote of all undertakings today. An education at St. Anthony's High' School prepares each student to take his place in making the world a better and happier one for the future. lt is through the work and efforts of the Dominican Sisters, who through the years have taught thousands of stu- dents to be better prepared for the work that is theirs ,today, that the seniors look forward to the place they are to occupy once they leave school. I This year marks the Diamond jubi- lee of the Texas foundation of the Dominican Sisters. Seventy-five years ago, in 1882, Mo- ther Mary Agnes Magevney established the Texas foundation at Sacred Heart Academy in Galveston. Today the Mo- ther House is located at Sacred Heart Convent- in Houston. A friendly smile, a kind word for everyone and a helping hand to a friend in need seem to sum up the most desirable qualities we look for in real friendship. Favorites are chosen by popular vote of their respec- tive classes. just as each one of us is able to choose a good friend, one we look to for companionship and understanding, so the classes vote for the boys and girls they consider to be a friend to everyone. - a Q36 i 'E 2 Q ix K Q Q X V X N , Q Q X iam ., ,W,,,WM M ,wmwmw-WWW' WW W a v 4 My -,..u.xm?f fav 0 f.
