He is noted for his extensive treatment of Gen- eral Science and Biology and is widely read in scientific data. Like many of the other professors, Father is striving for a Master of Science Degree. PRESIDENT VICE PRESIDENT LOUIS TARANTELLI Louie the man with the mam names could always be depended on to do a fine Job on anything he was assigned to do This vias noticeable in the fine Job he performed in guiding our class in our Senior year and in his excellent Job as business manager for the S1 quaeris Acting in most clubs he also found time for sports winning his letter ln baseball FRANCIS USS Not lacking in ability nor in character Frankie was well liked by all his classmates. He belonged to many organizations and was Prefect of the Sodality. He actively participated in sports and won varsity letters for soccer and baseball. A member of the Siquaeris staff, he was in charge of developing photographs. In spite of all his extra-curricular activities he found time for his studies and was a member of the National Honor Society, SECRETARY TREASURER RONALD REGULA A popular fellow with his class mates Reggie was one of the most actne students on the campus He belonged to many societies and served as head of the gym staff He won his letter in JV baseball was manager of our soccer and basketball teams and was a member of the gymnastic team As sports editor of the Paduan and the S1quaer1s he won a certificate of merit for column writmv from the New York Times A very friendly and personable fellow he will undoubtedly be remembered for his willingness to help others out EDWARD WENDOLOWSKI Wendy , the fellow who was always combing his hair had the wonderful knack of getting along well with everyone. An active sports fan he was always willing to play softball or football. He also participated actively in all social functions and belonged to a few so- cieties. He acted as circulation manager for the Paduan and the credit for designing the cover of the Yearbook goes to him. From selections read from the l1fe of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the idea of turning to her in time of need kept the hearts and minds of the Sodality Mary Conscious . The four officers of the Sodality were selected from each of the four classes. Terrence with Rev. Msgr. Joseph A. Balcerak In the past years. a few of our former professors - Father Leo- pold Niedzwiecki. ofm. Father George Dubowski. ofm. Father Flavian Nowotarski. ofm. and Father Humphrey Tobias, ofm - have all left for missionary posts in the Philippines. Once again another of our professors. Father Terrence Pinkowski, ofm, recently departed for the Phil- ippines. These missionaries were not the first to do so nor will they be the last. Many more will follow in their footsteps. Father Terrence spent seven years at Padua as a teacher of English. He hails from Nanti- coke, Pa., where he received his parochial school education. Aft- er four years at the public high school in that city, he left for two years of college. He entered the Franciscan Novitiate at Pu- laski, Wisconsin, in 1941g he then went to Burlington, Wis- consin to study philosophy for three years. After leaving Bur- lington, he had two years of theological study at Cedar Lake, Ind., and two years at Green Bay, Wis., where he was ordain- ed on June 11, 1949. After be- ing assigned to Saginaw, Mich., and Toledo, Ohio, he was sent to Padua in February of 1951. Father Terrence spent five years with us when his superiors gave him permission to attend St. Bonaventure University for one year, after which he received his Master of Arts degree in Lit- erature. He then resumed his work as a teacher. He leaves us now for the call of God is strong. He will long be remembered for his kindness and sincerity. He has loved us all and that is why we love him.
