DEDICATIGN We, The Senior Class. Take pride in dedicafing This I95I Verifas To Chrisf, The King. For four years we have learned The simple Trufhs TaughT by ChrisT during His brief sTay on earTh. Soon we will be Tesfed To find ouT how well we have learned: an examinafion ThaT will lasT The resT of our lives. As graduafes of a Cafholic high school. we have had a rare opporfunify. ThaT of learning The simple buf complex Trufh and iTs applicaTion. We have had insfilled in us a high sfandard of morals. which in days To come, will help us solve many difficulf problems in our maTerialisTic world. We, who have lived mosT of our years in a world where suffering and war were common, and peaceful days few. will now Tackle The adulf problems and Try in our decisions To keep His divine commandmenfs in mind. We have chosen as our pafroness Our Lady of FaTima, remembering her promises and, under The guidance of The Sodalify, have Tried To say her Fafima Rosary. As we leave The profecfion of ST. AnThony's, may we in Trufh become aposfles of Chrisf and His Blessed Mofher. and spread Their word, which shall prove To be, in Time, The eradicafor of The bloody ThreaTs of com- munism. maferialism. and socialism. To our parenTs also. we owe a Tremendous debf of graTiTude for Their pafience. undersTanding, guidance, and counsel. Their pride in us. who have finally scaled The heighfs of seniorify, is Their only reward. Now iT is up To us To iusfify Their confi- dence in us. and Throughouf our lives To keep our faiTh ever burning, as a shining symbol To These courageous and self-sacrificing people. Our communify, also. is noT To be forgoTTen. Two parish-sponsored clubs have con- Tribufed much To make our days here a liTTle easier. Under Their careful guidance, our program of acTiviTies and sporfs is pracfically compleTe. Our communify has acTed as our personal friends and encouraged our many acTiviTies, bofh financially and infellecfually. ln all, we have a giganfic debT-one ThaT cannoT be repaid in mere money. Our only mefhod of repaymenf can be To preserve The Trufhs we have learned while here and bring The knowledge of iT To all we encounferg Thaf The TruTh may seT free The peoples of The earTh and bring forfh The long awaifed reign of peace.

TO OUR PASTOR We, the senior class of 195l, wish to pay tribute to the man who has made our stay at St. Anthony's possible. This man came here at an early age and labored diligently, so all of us could have a house of worship and a place to receive an education. None of us may truly visua- y lize the hardships and trials this A man had to endure to realize his 1 aim. Under his leadership this parish has grown from a small group of parishioners in 1926 to one of the most prosperous and continually growing parishes on the Florida east coast. He has asked for nothing in return, for he is working for God and mankind. 1 we are sure, however, that in the future he will receive his reward. we offer our humble respect, and prayers, to a truly great man, the Reverend John J. O'Looney. TO OUR GRADUATES OF 1951 As the time approaches to award diplomas to the graduating class of 1951, one phrase, one bit of ancient advice recurs again and again in our thoughts. It is the words of St. Paul, that valiant soldier, WPut ye on the Lord Jesus Christ.W Perhaps never before have we so needed militant men and women, not to DEFEND the Faith but to LIVE the Faith. St. Paul's words ring out the chal- lenge to our century to LIVE Christ in the midst of a world that has tried very hard to forget Him. we remind you, as you leave your Alma Mater, that you owe a tremendous debt to your parents, your teachers and your parish-priests. You have only one way in which to repay this debt and that is to lead exemplary Catholic lives and to influence those about you to do likewise. lf you accomplish this, you will have amply repaid the sacrifices upon which your education has been founded. Know always, that regardless of circumstances, time or place, your priests, and your teachers, will be ever ready and willing to help you should you need them. we shall always remember you in our prayers and we ask your patroness, Our Lady of Fatima, to take you in her special care and lead you, after a rich Catholic life to the Throne of Christ, the King. God bless you, always. 4 Reverend John O'Looney
