TO OUR PASTOR We, the senior class of 195l, wish to pay tribute to the man who has made our stay at St. Anthony's possible. This man came here at an early age and labored diligently, so all of us could have a house of worship and a place to receive an education. None of us may truly visua- y lize the hardships and trials this A man had to endure to realize his 1 aim. Under his leadership this parish has grown from a small group of parishioners in 1926 to one of the most prosperous and continually growing parishes on the Florida east coast. He has asked for nothing in return, for he is working for God and mankind. 1 we are sure, however, that in the future he will receive his reward. we offer our humble respect, and prayers, to a truly great man, the Reverend John J. O'Looney. TO OUR GRADUATES OF 1951 As the time approaches to award diplomas to the graduating class of 1951, one phrase, one bit of ancient advice recurs again and again in our thoughts. It is the words of St. Paul, that valiant soldier, WPut ye on the Lord Jesus Christ.W Perhaps never before have we so needed militant men and women, not to DEFEND the Faith but to LIVE the Faith. St. Paul's words ring out the chal- lenge to our century to LIVE Christ in the midst of a world that has tried very hard to forget Him. we remind you, as you leave your Alma Mater, that you owe a tremendous debt to your parents, your teachers and your parish-priests. You have only one way in which to repay this debt and that is to lead exemplary Catholic lives and to influence those about you to do likewise. lf you accomplish this, you will have amply repaid the sacrifices upon which your education has been founded. Know always, that regardless of circumstances, time or place, your priests, and your teachers, will be ever ready and willing to help you should you need them. we shall always remember you in our prayers and we ask your patroness, Our Lady of Fatima, to take you in her special care and lead you, after a rich Catholic life to the Throne of Christ, the King. God bless you, always. 4 Reverend John O'Looney

REVEREND ROBERT HOSTLER Father Hostler is new on our faculty this year and he has already made a place for him- self in our lives. Though we think he has still a soft place in his heart for the Miamians he left behind him, we appreci- ate this loyalty and we feel sure that we will also earn a place in his affection and loyalty. We wish you success in your work in our parish, Father, and happiness among us. C3 4 TH E FAC U LTY SISTER MARY ALBAN, O.P., M.A. Principal REVEREND ROBERT HOSTLER SISTER EVANGELA, O.P., A.B. LITZINGER, B.B.A. TO TI-IE SISTERS We offer the rosary, with humble grati- tude, for the Sisters of Saint Dominic, who instructed us in the classrooms and trained us in the fundamentals of living. They who devoted their lives to the teaching of others, have given untold sacrifice and undaunted zeal in guiding us to our eternal goal. They are the shining example of goodness, which directs us along the way of life to true peace. They hold high the torch of truth, bringing the Light of the World to all in the midst of chaos and confusion. They have put forth unceasing efforts in transforming us into Christlike men and Marylike women, pre- pared to cope with the Godlessness of mod- ern times. Nothing which we could do would repay fully all they have done for us. Yet we can express thanks from the depths of our hearts and promise always to live up to the standards that they have set for us, that their patient understanding and constant vig- ilance shall not go unrewarded. MISS DRUCILLA GNANN Girls' physical education instructor, comes to us from Rosarian Academy, West Palm Beach.
