TO OUR PASTOR We, the senior class of 195l, wish to pay tribute to the man who has made our stay at St. Anthony's possible. This man came here at an early age and labored diligently, so all of us could have a house of worship and a place to receive an education. None of us may truly visua- y lize the hardships and trials this A man had to endure to realize his 1 aim. Under his leadership this parish has grown from a small group of parishioners in 1926 to one of the most prosperous and continually growing parishes on the Florida east coast. He has asked for nothing in return, for he is working for God and mankind. 1 we are sure, however, that in the future he will receive his reward. we offer our humble respect, and prayers, to a truly great man, the Reverend John J. O'Looney. TO OUR GRADUATES OF 1951 As the time approaches to award diplomas to the graduating class of 1951, one phrase, one bit of ancient advice recurs again and again in our thoughts. It is the words of St. Paul, that valiant soldier, WPut ye on the Lord Jesus Christ.W Perhaps never before have we so needed militant men and women, not to DEFEND the Faith but to LIVE the Faith. St. Paul's words ring out the chal- lenge to our century to LIVE Christ in the midst of a world that has tried very hard to forget Him. we remind you, as you leave your Alma Mater, that you owe a tremendous debt to your parents, your teachers and your parish-priests. You have only one way in which to repay this debt and that is to lead exemplary Catholic lives and to influence those about you to do likewise. lf you accomplish this, you will have amply repaid the sacrifices upon which your education has been founded. Know always, that regardless of circumstances, time or place, your priests, and your teachers, will be ever ready and willing to help you should you need them. we shall always remember you in our prayers and we ask your patroness, Our Lady of Fatima, to take you in her special care and lead you, after a rich Catholic life to the Throne of Christ, the King. God bless you, always. 4 Reverend John O'Looney
