Mary. Prfieacipafs M essaz ge Dear Graduates, It is with real satisfaction that I pen this message to you now as you prepare to launch out into a new field of endeavor. For I feel confident that your Catholic education, which has been especially designed to equip you in every way for the next steps in life, is adequate to help you live that life to the fullest. Treasure it, it is a precious heritage that no one can ever take from you. The ensuing years will find each of you in some path of your choosing. For many of you, that choice will consist in carrying on the Christ-like work of leading a little family through the sweet and bitter, that life has to offer, on to an eternity of happiness with God. Some of you may choose a service career as a nurse, a social worker, a lay missionary, a teacher, or a youth counselor. Still others, the chosen few, may heed the divine call to serve God exclusively in the religious life. No matter what the choice, the path has been marked out for you. Be faithful to these high ideals that have been constantly held before you during your years at St. Anthony's, and may our dear Lord and your special patron, the Madonna of the Street, accompany you along the way.
