Legion of Mary Immaculate Heart of Mary Praesiclium On the eve of the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, December 7, 1955, the Immacu- late Heart of Mary Presidium of the Legion of Mary held its first meeting. The Class of 56 have distinguished themselves as the first Legionaries of Baton Rouge. They regard the Legion as their most noble achievement, they look to it for high inspiration-great sanctity for themselves and myriads of other souls. MY SOUL DOTH MAGNIEY THE LORD. AND MY SPIRIT HATH REIOICED IN GOD MY SAVIOUR . . . FOR HE THAT IS MIGHTY HATH DONE GREAT THINGS TO ME, AND HOLY IS HIS NAME.
