Qui! Small Climaxing a steadily-improving journalistic program in St, Anthony High School a charter to Quill and Scroll, International Honorary Society for High School Journalists, was obtained by interested students. Permission was granted by David Lawrence, Editor of The United States News, to name the chapter for him. Initiation cere- monies, conducted by the Sugar-Salem Chapter, were a major social event of the year. Charter members are, left to right: Donna Burton, Vice-President, Inez Skrede, Adviser, Orin Parker, Presi- dent, Fae Stanford, Secretary, and Wanda Underhill, Treasurer. Under the capable leadership of Alton B. Jones, the Dramatic Department of the school organized Troupe No. 448, of the National Honorary Society of Thespians for High Schools. The year's program opened with the initiation ceremony. Thereafter monthly meetings were held at which dramatic coaches from nearby schools and colleges gave pointers on howto produce better drama. The ultimate goal of the local Thespian Troupe is to raise the standards of our school plays. Charter members are, left to right-Robert Parker, honorary member, Rosemary Welch, Alton B.
