Amen. Catholic education must recognize the catholicity of truth under all its aspects, and tend to actualize it in all the relations of life, in religion and civilization. There- fore Catholic education has a twofold work. Its first and primary, indeed, is to save souls, to lead men to eternal life. lts second. but no less true, is to ripen and to elevate the social and political life of men by its influences of morality and law.
