Generous and sociable, she is always ready to contribute a lion's share in whatever undertaking presents itself. No wonder that she knows everyone and everyone knows her. Although majoring in the study of French, Therese succeeds remarkably well in all her subjects. Constant application, unrelenting tenacity and a great desire to learn constitute the keynotes oi her success. Do ye all likewise and scholastic honors will be thine! Photography is quite a hobby with her but she still prefers letter-writing. We need not try to estimate the joy and happiness brought about by this pleasure giving pastime' Her plans for the future? Oui, de fait, tous les matins c'est une lutte acharnee avec son cadran et son oreiller. Un jour vaincu, l'autre jour vainqueur, nous ne savons de quel c6te penchera la victoire definitive. Cependant, de nombreuses qualites nous font oublier cette lacune. Une nature reservee, un esprit cooperatif, une disposition qenereuse, en font un ami loyal et sincere. A 1'occasion, il ne menaqe ni son temps ni sa peine. Comme membre de l'equipe de balle au panier, ses activites sportives occupent une partie considerable de son temps. Tcujours eqal 61 lui-meme, ses efforts sont aussi constants aux heures de pratique qu'aux heures de combats athletiques. Tall, dark and slim, Muriel never fails to see and seize every opportunity to laugh and be merry. Needless to say that with such a disposition, she has made hosts of friends. Moreover, to Irish, the class owes many good times enjoyed at her home and in her company. Hikes, Weenie roasts, bicycle rides, skating parties, all these have left memories which are always associated with Muriel and the kind of hospitality received at her home. For all these pleasures, we thank you, dear companion. Light as a fairy, lovely as a posy, she loves to swing and twirl and f glide whenever a good orchestra is playing away. Could it be that you dance your troubles away, Muriel, forgetting that the next day, homework must be handed in and lessons must be known? Our friend plans to be a typist.
