The fifth annual Variety Show, presented by the choir and drama departments, was held Friday and Saturday evenings, April 18 and 19. 1. Swing Choir during a mellow moment. 2. Travis Fell caught in a mousetrap. 3. Darrel Mullenbach and Laurie Low sing 'Secret Lovers. 4. Cindy Blake and Tracy Terhark sing When Johnny gets Mastercard. 5. Karla Mackenmiller explaining toilet paper to alien Travis Fell. 6. Kathy Johanns sings Can I have this Dance? 7. Paula Jahr - Spiderwoman. 8. Amy Theobald and Lynda Hemann with Tom Collier. 9. Amy Christofferson dances to I Feel for you. 10. John Miller and Mark Krebsbach perform Schizzo 5. 11. Cam Hanson and Matt Wilde — Man on the Street. 12. Swing Choir 13. Dan Thome and Helen Scripture emcee the show. 14. Variety Show cast performs The Best of Times as finale.

1. Officers during the rand March. 2. Prom '86 sign. 3. Keith Anderson stands in the entrance of the commons. 4. Kristie Mullenbach and Chris Patterson. 5. John Miller and Jennifer Hinman. 6. Tim Hemann, Kari Zosulis, and other couples during the Grand March. 7. Liz Bruggeman and Justine Hanson having fun. On April 12, 1986, the Junior-Senior Prom was held. The theme was Good- bye'' and the colors were red and silver. Throughout the school year the juniors and their parents earned money through drawings and by selling concessions at home athletic events. This was the fourth consecutive year that the Prom was run by the Junior parents. Some of the activities that took place were the Grand March, the garter ceremony, skits, and a buffet breakfast at midnight. Speeches of welcome and farewell were given by the officers of both classes and door prizes were awarded. The Senior prize, a portable T.V. was won by Laurie Low. The Junior prize, a boombox, was won by Pam Weber. 42
