class line-up on float clean-up day. 4. Brian Duffy, Des Moines Register cartoonist, speaking in the choir room. 5. Mark Kirchgatter and Andy Buechele play DJ at the Halloween dance. 6. Brent Golberg, Kent Hemann, Tom Collier, Brian Hook, and Darrell Mullenbach took on the task of decorating the infamous St. Ansgar-Osage corn crib,which stands near the border of the two school districts south of town. The rival schools have decorated the building with graffiti for years. It's dirty business, but somebody has to do it, right, boys? 7. The odd couple — Steve Weber and Ed Adams at the Halloween dance. 8. Some Senior girls model the Senior football players' 26 pajamas at a pep meeting. “Extra Extra- Curricular” 1. Brian Duffy, cartoonist for the Des Moines Register, lectures to interested students. Duffy was joined by columnist Julie Gammack as they visited our school as part of a week tour of the state to glean impressions of Iowans' opinions right before the election. While here, they described their jobs and gave their insights on current topics. 2. Kim Hemann and Karla Hackenmiller taken by surprise. 3. The Senior

28 After several weeks of three- night-per-week rehearsals, a cast of 30 performed M A S H” by Tim Kelly on Saturday evening, November 10 and a first-ever matinee on the 11th. Both were well-attended and the audience enjoyed the antics of the personnel of a mobile army surgical hospital unit during the Korean conflict. The play was based on the original book, which later was made into the movie M A S H in the early 1970's. The cast in order of appearance was as follows: General Hamilton Hartington Hammond . . .
