Homecoming ’84 Saints' Homecoming '84 was different than other years because of the absence of the usual Friday activities. The traditional dress - up days were held, however, and they included: Hawaiian day. Opposite sex day, Costume day, Toga day, and Red - white day. Float building got off to an unusually slow start due to the cold weather and lack of workers and a change in the format is likely. The students came through by Thursday night with their song - titled floats. The Saints topped off the week with a wind-blown parade, a Friday afternoon pep rally, a discouraging 19- 0 loss to North Central, and the Homecoming Dance which followed the game. 1.
