HIGH SCHOOL GUIDANCE Andrew Woolfries Finally, after many years of persuading, the supposed solver of all problems got himself an office he can call his own with room to spare. Mr. Woolfries, the new head of the de- partment is ever willing to fix a schedule problem, help Seniors decide future plans, or assist students in solving private problems. ART DEPARTMENT Karen Tritle The art classes 1, II, III went in with the band and chorus this year for their second Fine Arts Show. Proded on by Miss Tritle the art students work busily in the many differ- end aspects of art. A new idea was put into use this year for the art II students. They could choose the areas in art they wanted to endeavor. Patricia Hinman Langley Jensen BUSINESS EDUCATION DEPARTMENT There’s never a moment that the north hall of STA isn’t blaring with the sound of typewriters, adding machines, shorthand tapes, and other accessories of the business department. Mrs. Hinman and Mr. Jensen try to keep it down to a dull roar as best they can. There’s always some depressed looking chap disgusted over his unbalancable bookkeeping assignment given by Mr. Jensen. Maybe some day we’ll envy them when they can get their budgets and income tax to come out and we can’t. DRIVER EDUCATION J. David Runyon In and out of the ditches is the usual procedure of J. D’s educational and nerve-wracking driving sessions. After class everybody feels a little faint from the gory lectures and dry movies. When the short semester comes to a close, the only thing you have left to worry about is meeting the Driver Ed car on the street.
