In the following pages of the ‘Highlight’ a story is re- corded. It is the story of the students, faculty, and adminis- tration of the 1968-1969 school year. This story began just as hundreds of others have; scared freshmen piously walking down the halls while rather conceited seniors showed their rank. The days came and went. But each day was something precious another day at STA. Sports events were played, plays held, concerts performed, dances attended, and final- ly graduation day came. To the class of ’69 their STA story was about to close. They would be together as a class for the last time. 1 hope the following pages bring many pleasant and meaningful memories,especially to the classof ’69, but also to all those people who made it the wonderful year it was. IN APPRECIATION OF A JOB WELL DONE The duty of education, a complex job with tremendous responsibilities, has been given to our administration. The members of the Board of Lduca- tion and the administration of the learning centers of St. Ansgar Commun- ity Schools have tackled the problems confronting our school, an often thankless job, which includes hours of wrestling with the cold hard facts and endless debate with conflicting opinions.
