CLASS HISTORY Rzta W1LL1ams he graduatlng class of 1955 has spent 31x wonderful years at Sa1nt Anne ' Look1ng back these years are crowded w1th pleasant m8m0P16S One of the f1rst th1ngs we saw upon enter1ng Sa1nt Anne s was the reconstruct1on of the or1g1na1 Church IHCO a school and large aud1tor1um wh1ch was to serve as a church for a few years In th1s f1YSt year our foundatlon llke that of the church and school was sturd1ly and securely la1d In the fourth f1fth and s1xth grades our bu1ld1ng blocks were prayer and S8CF1f1C8 We spent these years f011OW1ng the same fru1tfu1 schedule work fun and learnlng coupled w1th perseverlng effort The dawn of a new September promlsed even greater achlevements Our school had grown 1h the precedlng years to such proport1ons that another bull d1ng was erected and ready for our use Athletlcs prov1ded many thr1ll1ng moments th1s year Under the leadersh1p of Mr B111 Bennett and Mrs Blta W1ll1ams, our sportsmen captured many troph1es In p8SS1Hg the other m11estone and were prepared to take the flnal step 1U our educat1onal advancement at Sa1nt Anne s Mlngled feel1ngs of Joy and sorrow were pre valent 1n the last year of our sojourn 1n grammar school Some of the hLghl1ghts of th1s year were the preparat1ons for entrance exam1nat1ons to VHPIOUS hlgh schools our class OUCIHQ flnal tests and graduatxon It 1S w1th regret that we leave for our hap plest years were spent here under the careful gu1dance and good example of prmests SISCCIS and lay teachers the ears head S111 try to keep close to ur Lord and HIS Blessed Mother so that the class of l955 w1l1 prove tobe HIIVIHH monument to Cathollc character educatlon and a worthy tF1bUI8 to the tra1n1ng we have rece1ved at Sa1nt Anne s . , , s. 1 l , ' I a . . 1 . y f barrier of examinations, we cruised serenely over an- . . . , I l 1 I ' , 4 U f , I I 0 In y . a. . we lr l O ' Y . . , 1
