This year marks the fifth anniversary of the Student Council in St. Angela Hall. Eileen Toohill presided over the meetings during the Fall term, and Helen McLaughlin during the Spring term. I I N K , Pictured on page seven are Marie Ann Kelly, Joneth Tracy, Joan Jennings and Mary McGann as they were caught arranging their hats before going into the chapel to pray for the success of the missions, which is a work carried on by our Rosa Mystica Unit. Janet Riley, Mary Ann Murphy and Adelaide Griffin who were originally in the picture, were not caught by the camera, therefore you will have to imagine them there. The mite-box pennies, the Catholic magazines, the old clothes, the needles, thread, and white linen are the instruments by which the Rosa Mystica Unit carries on its work from the Crusade Castle. Letters from missionaries throughout the south and west and from St. Rose's Cancer ospital prove this side of the work worth while.

Angelus and Veritas Stalls ONT be misled by the photograph. It is seldom that The Arzgelm and Veritas staffs calmly sit down to admire their work. A more accurate picture would show: the June Editor of Vcriias, Joan Dillon, tearing her hair over patrons, sponsors, and adsg February Editor, Mary Schmuck pouring over graduates' write-upsg February Editor of the Angelus, Miriam Dietrig pleading earnestly for articles, just before the deadlineg June Editor, Peggy McGuire, armed with scissors, glue, and a puzzled expression, trying to arrange the dummy sheetf' associate editors and reporters combing the school for odd bits of newsg the Veritas Publicity Committee seeking the most ostentatious spot for its newest poster. The Angelus, nearing the age of reason, desires congratulations, as it blows out five candles on its birthday cake. The two groups worked vigorously to maintain the standard set by last year's issues of Veritas and The Angelus which won All Catholic Hormrs, the highest rating awarded to Catholic School publications.
