But in the revival, we have combined change with tradition. This volume bears a new name, taken from St. Paulls letter to the Corinthians. Chapter 16, Verse 22. It is a name that reflects, we think, the central thought in every seminarianls mind - the day of the Lord's coming. As Christians, we look to His coming at the world's endg as seminarians, we cannot help but dream of the day on which the Lord will come to make us His priests. Our every action, whether in the chapel, in the classroom or on the sports field, is therefore intended to make us better equipped for the Lord's coming. Although in years to come, many themes will be explored under this new name, we feel that the first volume should complement the thought behind the name. There- fore, we have attempted to show how each phase of our seminary program prepares us for His coming. It is our hope that Mapav 50 Z1 will always be a proud symbol of the school which prepared us so well to stand ready for the Lord's coming. Alma Mater O St. Andrew, to thee we pledge devotion. In every heart welll build for thee a shrine. To thee we owe whate'er of truth we cherish: Thy boundless love has all our wants supplied. Living in us Thy soul shall never perish, Alive in Thee shall we be glorified. 4 Thy swords are we and shields to guide thy glory, Thy lamps are we to beacon far and near: Thy pens are we to write in deathless story Lives that shall honor thee, O Mother Dear.
