The crucifix is indeed a great book and a Q strange one. Its binding consists of sharp spikes, driven into place by the cruel hammers of human weakness-sin. Divine Saviour, and it is punctuated by the awful lacerations and Qi: death-dealing wounds which Our Divine Lord gladly accepted in 6, lf ' ' order to fulfil His Father's Will-tlie Work of Redemption.
