Al lhe beginning ol lhe year we lound our already considerable company augmenled by lhe arrival ol Paul While, Pele Torrey, Ross MacDonald, Fred Clarke, and one Heinz Sander, a German exchange sludenl. Ollie VanPellen, who had lemporarily abandoned our ranks lo go lo Germany, has since llown back lo our bosom wilh a brand new sel ol Nazi ideals. ln lhe class eleclions, Ricky Lewis was relurned as Presidenl, Bill While was made Vice-Presidenl, and Ben l-louslon, Treasurer. As we review lhe year, lhere are lwo lhings ol which we are parlicularly proud. One is lhe lorm unily we have mainlained under Mr. l'lolder's conslanl guidance, and lhe olher is lhe remarkably smoolh relalionship we have ellecled wilh lhe Sixlh Form. We have every reason lo believe lhal il was a successlul year and are well salislied. Tl-IE FOURTI-l FORM LTHOUGH we are spread lhilher and yon aboul lhe campus, some ol us being in lhe gym and some in lhe main building, we have kepl our lorm well unilied lhis year. Our new members, George Broadbenl, Dunnie Caslle, Kenny DeRenne, Arl Dodge, Dick Fisk, Malcom Ford, Tony Parrish, Davis Plall, and Bob Reese have been absorbed wilh a minimum ol luss and have laken lheir place in lorm allairs as il lhey had been wilh us lor years. The lorm's conducl has been exceplionally line, lhree guarlers ol ils members being on lhe While Lisl consislenlly lhroughoul lhe year. This is an especially good record lor a lourlh lorm and seems lo indicale lhal we are accepling our responsibililies well. ll also bodes well lor our lulure posilions ol lrusl in lhe school. Our class eleclions relurned George Lewis as presidenl, and lhe overwhelming maiorily he received belrayed lhe success ol his adminislralion lasl year. John Ball was re-elecled lo lhe vice-presidency and Dovell was made secrelary-lreasurer. Mr. Sherwood was chosen lo be our lorm advisor, and we leel sure lhal under his able guidance, we can make nexl year as successlul a one as lhis. 23
