A yt Carole Yatagai President Christiana Matsumoto Vice-Prerident Jo Ann Evans Secretary Gail Miyagawa Treasurer Latin Club The Latin Club, dividing its time between work and play, began the year with a success- ful service project as guides at the PTF Open House held in mid-November. In February, the Latin Clubbers held a sweet bread sale, which brought an overwhelming profit to the club and helped to finance the annual Latin Banquet. The long-awaited banquet was held on the night of May 7 in Queen Emma Hall. Strains of traditional Latin songs resounded in the cor- ridors, while within the hall Latin Club mem- bers wearing the togas of ancient Rome feasted and made merry, served by hapless slaves, first- year Latin students. A play depicting Roman life and culture was presented.
