Ridiculous Registration our freshman year in the small gym, we sought each other out m selecting SAS groups, knowing nothing about C and C but rumors We wondered and wandered and watched the changes . Hart leaving, Arnold resigning. Doubles moving, Claytor coming in to take Santa-Manas place, McNair going back to school, Perkinson presiding over the bricks going down in front of the Student Union, the Kings Mountain renovation into Pate Hall, the concrete coming up on Chapel Island, the turnovers who took over and are taking us in different directions. The gifts of money and motion have seen us through these changing years and though we are often thankless, we have given and moved, also. From the McGaw chair to the arrival of the first coots, what it all comes down to is the following pages. We are graduates, prospective graduates, people who have that final course to take to get out and get on with the ridiculous and real world. 20
