L 20 The WEE BAGPIPE n, ,if-, V... THE MONOGRAM CLUB HE members of this club have, either last year or this, made a well deserved letter in some form of athletics. This is an honorary society for our athletes, and under the supervision of Coach C. H. Hand, Jr. It is through this organization that many of our dances are sponsored. Though this club this year may be smaller than in years past, it has been most thorough in all its duties.

Presbyterian Junior College BASEBALL TEAM EGINNING practice under terrible odds, the boys show splen- did spiritg few games have been played as yet, but the future is bright. With new suits, white and red, the boys present a colorful specimen of real sports. While under handicaps from all sides, the team plays with wonderful skill, and endurance. Many of the players are First Year men, and some have never played baseball before, but in spite of this, we are expecting great things from the Coach and his baseball men. 6 INTRAMURALS ECAUSE of the lack of equipment, many of the minor sports had to be cut from our program this year, however, with teams representing Commercial Class, Freshmen Class, and Sophomore Class, our interest was upheld throughout Basketball seasong and since warm weather, a Tennis tournament is being staged. Track news is scarce, except that many of the boys are planning to enter the Conference tournament at Davidson, representing P. C. Wfith this being the first year intramurals have been tried here, amazing interest is shown, and great advantages are shown for future work in this line of athletics. Boxing was removed entirely from our program, thus causing much more interest in other parts of the athletic program. Though we lose many of our best players in all the intramurals at the close of this session, we are hoping for the best in years to come, for through this program we have found much enjoyment, and new material for our teams.
