The honor system has been used and has been most successful. Through it the stu- dents have become to know the real meaning of the word HoNoR. Many cases have come before the Council but they have all been met with such perfect satisfaction that no one has appealed to the faculty Board of Discipline. All of the decisions, were subject to the ultimate authority of the faculty as a court of final appeal. Any student who testified in the Student Council Court was pledged to absolute secrecy and in this way no damaging criticism of any- one leaked out. Should a student break the pledge of secrecy he was subject to the punishment meted out by the Council. -wl 26 HMQW JIM!-Ill!!
