So it is with St. Andrews Parish High Schools. Men of vision serve on the Board of Trus- tees. Efficiently coordinating the efforts of various schools is the superintendent, Mr. C. E. Williams, dedicated to the task of improving the St. Andrews Schools for the past twenty-one years. These men of integrity, foresight, wisdom, and understanding lay the plans and insure the success for the effective presentation of a sound educational program in the ever widening scene of St. Andrews Parish Schools. Always re- membered will be those awful days when every teacher iust had to give a test. Then, too, there were the days that were filled with 'fun and laughter. The pep rallies on the lawn, the rush to get to classes on time, the excitement of graduation all these things filled the days. Along with the fun went work-lots of work! Somehow though studying hours were squeezed into the busy weeks, No one worked harder than the Mothers' Club, which made the senior trip possible. ln the years to come, these memories will become blurr- ed, but the education received and the friends made will remain throughout life. The club helps in the establishing of friendly relations between student and teacher and between stu- dent and student. The club helps strengthen correct pro- nunciation of Latin. It develops leadership and responsi- bility and encourages originality on the part of the pupil.
