During I this month also Mary Susan jackson was elected second Vice-President of the S. C. Scho- lastic Press Association. She is chosen to go to Girl's State this coming summer. MAY 1957 - The thing we had worked for all year - - it was jr. -Sr. time. Our theme High Society fitted in nicely at the Country Club, where the dance was held. We may have a few storms, but all in all we hope for calm seas and smooth sailing. Mrs. Meshaw, Mrs. Smith, and Mrs. Floyd see a lot of hard work in store. This is the big year, and our trip to New York is ahead. Immediately, under the leadership of our class officers Edward Nettles, Bobby Wright, Joan Ellsworth, and Jo Ann Williams, we begin to raise money - - here comes the candy. What? Pins?!! Oh, the concession stand.
