I In the cool, clear lakes of Maine many a fisherman I casts out his line for a chance to catch some of those , I delicious Maine trout. Luck sometimes is with him and if with pride and joy he is happy to take home a string of fish. Men from all parts of the world, famous men, such as, Hollywood stars, professional ballplayers and poli- ticians come to Maine to enjoy an agreeable vacation-- fishing. They are eager to go back home and say they ate more fish in one week than they usually do in one year. Just a glimpse at those sparkling, cool lakes makes - me want to get my fish pole out and catch a batch of fish and roast them right after I catch them. Doesn't it make you feel that way, too? 619 510 Of eo Q 0 lb J' -, Qszlerlz od 'DQ S3 . ' 0-19 OCX X X X G 'B i W Xu. Presentation of the award was made by Roger Sherman Cleftj, indus- trial relations manager, during St. Andre's graduation exercises. Priscilla, who will begin her sophomore year at St. Andre's next 72777 fall, received congratulations from Monseigneur Aime Giguere, principal speaker at the graduation ceremonies, for the honor she brought to the school by winning this twin-city-wide competition. Pauline Perreault's skill in shorthand proved to be very useful to her - she was the private secretary of Mr. Peterson, the Governor of Maine. Our Pauline was a mar velous stenographer-student. She always had perfect out lines. Her efforts were now being rewarded. Jeannette Cote was em ployed in the Main Office at the Saco-Lowell Shops as head stenographer in her department. Reinette Labarre was at the Edwards Plant in Saco as private secretary to Mr. Edwards. Shirley Simmons flew in from California where she spent long hours at the Cancer Research Laboratory. This had been her main ambition in life. Michael was overjoyed at the wonderful results. He would soon be able to make up a new note-book for Saint Peter. All the little housewives were next to have their lives inscribed. Mrs. Patrick Bordage - the former Irene Cantara - now very happy was the mother of a charming young girl. Priscille Goulet was the wife of a famous writer. Yes, you have guessed it, he wrote mystery stories. How she loved to read such stories---now she had access to them even before they were published. No one will ever forget the entertainment presented by the two little Misses Farrell. They were the daughters of Mrs. Guy Farrell - 'four grandma , Paula Labbe. Michael had a grand time with these little girls. They were so charm- ing, but then how could they be otherwise having Paula for their mother. This little family was quite prominent and well- to-do, Mr. Farrell being the owner of the Pontiac Garage. Irene Saint Michel was also among our happy wives and mothers. Married to a very successful business man, she was bringing up their children to be good Christians, Gilberte Mandeville after working a few years in a bank as a bookkeeper, surprised us all for did she ?J by marrying R.L. When Saint Michael returned with so much information, Saint Peter was more than pleased to to God as requested. Gilberte Mandeville be able to give a complete report QS'-1'-'Q 3 X -aw 1 . ,,..
