v LT We began school in September with eighteen in the first grade--eleven boys and seven girls. The second have nine boys and only five girls. David Beauchamp and Lillian Martineau are the class leaders for grade one and Roger Hasey and Lois Halzle for grade two. The first for newcomers some time in The Days May The nineteen big event in the 18. third and fourth boys and twenty gi grade are planning a pre-school party May 0 second grade will be First Communion grades consist of thirty-nine pupils-- rls,all wide-awake,hard-working pupils. .They have shown great interest in building up their library. Twenty new books have been purchased this year. They seem to have a strong urge for contests in all their school work. Many were held during the year especially in spell- ing, tables and Catechism. The boys are all out for athletics. They even think they can play football. They all display a lively interest in their Religion, shown especially in attendance at Mass and frequenting the Sacraments. As a special phase in English the fifth and sixth grade pupils are very proud of their renditions in Choral reading. They performed many times for the faculty members. These grades have derived Dmnense benefit from the newiimmry which was installed this year. They can now boast of sixty new volumes. The library officers are Marlene Baldwin and Charles Bata. The High School looks to the future. Here we are--duafuture Freshies. We intend to go smiling through. Yes, and working,tool We agree with Commodore Shea: nBe good Catholics and you cannot help but be good Americans.n We have a very interesting Civic Club, The Holy Family Club. This club is now officially affiliated with the source of its origin,the Com ission of American Citizenship,Catholic University of America.
