JU E EL!-XSS DIARY September 11, 1951 Dear Diary, It all started today. Forty-five strong, we, FRESHMEN, were marched into Alumnae Hall and divided into two groups, headed by Sister Joan Bernadette and Sister Regina Assumpta. September 15 The Seniors welcomed us at a party today. The star of the show was Pat and her Charleston. October 23 It's fun moving from class to class, but dragging those camp chairs! Twenty minutes of every Latin period are spent getting installed in such a way as to al- low the door to open. December 23 -Everything goes so swiftly. The Holly Hop and Christmas Pageant are all over. I Iczmcczry 30 Civilized Freshmen! At last we aren't the freshest at the Sem. Izme 28 Graduation, it doesn't seem possible that some day it will be us. September 12, 1952 SOPHOMORES! The thirty-live of us really belong now. No longer split, we're all in one class. Desks range from lecture seats to blotters and camp chairs. November 3 We just don't seem to understand the difference between the area of a rec- tangle and the perimeter of a square. November 28 We journeyed to Brentwood. We all became interested in slides and monkey bars. Mczrcb 1 We have become the last class to read Starring You. May 23 Sister jean Anna gave us advice for fire drills, Throw all chairs in the closet and dive out the nearest window. September 14, 1953 We just don't believe it. JUNIORS! December 13 We've suddenly developed ravenous appetites and can't do without cookies at gym. Mczrcb 29 We were measured for our rings today. Only three months to wait. April 1 Our April Fool's joke backfired. Sister heard us in the lab and found her desk set. But Sister never did discover why the clock was fifteen minutes ahead of the bell.
