When we returned to the Sem after a pleasant summer vacation, we found being upper Sophs was a much more engrossing occupation that we had realized. Every classroom we entered, every corner we turned seemed to be engraved with one terrifying word, Regents , But the Tea Dance, the play, Halloween and the Christmas vacation proved that a little thing like Regents couldn't spoil our fun. Our second year ended and Sr. Anna Loretto's Pets were finally leaving her. The new juniors , were welcomed by Sr. jean Agnes as we plunged into Intermediate Algebra. Now we felt quite important for we were upper classmen. The term passed quickly as we looked forward to the summer, some to work- others to take typing, and still others to lie leisurely on the sand. With thoughts of a wonderful summer still fresh in our minds, and with our morale bolstered by now being junior B's, twenty Agnesians eargerly trod their way back to the Sem. Our renewed energies brought a year of unforgettable experiences such as pajama parties and luncheons. Sr. Florence Josephine gave us our usual reading list and that year some of the girls even took books out of the library. But then, of course, we had a few extra study periods. However, we took it all in our stride and said it was just One Of Those Things. And now the inevitable time had hnally arrived-we were seniors. We re- ceived our rings and enjoyed a delicious dinner at Lundy's. Sr. Mary Angelus always managed to find a few crumbs on her desk-even on the days we were supposed to eat downstairs?? Again summer came and once more we said So Long to our classmates. ' With the end of vacation this year, more so than ever before we were eagerly looking forward to our return. Yes, we had reached the final rung and our journey was quickly coming to an end. With great pleasure, we welcomed Sr. Mary Angelus as our 4B official. The preparations for Our Tea Dance , the school paper, the Yearbook, and finally the Prom, made us forget time. But now our High School days are over. We are leaving the Sem, and we shall say so long, for our hearts will never let us say good-bye. Dorothy Bruder 1 s
