His Holiness Pope Pius XII f t fllfl Pope Pius XII, the leader ofthe Christian world, has called himself the Pope of Youth. His personal addresses to various youth groups show him as our champion and our guide through the formative years of adolescence. Our Holy Father touches on every phase of our life, He leaves no stone unturnedg nc doubt in our minds. This in- fluence, felt so strongly in youtl' should last through life. His Holiness is aware of the re- sponsibilities that rest on the youtl' of today, who will rule the world ot tomorrow. ln an age when sin'anc low morals are glorified, the Pope realizes the need of spiritual power. He encourages youth tc pray for aid and strength to fortify them. Many of the new regulations that the Holy Father has made concerning the Eucharistic fast are planned to encourage daily attendance at Mass and receptior of Holy Communion by our stu- dents and our youthful workers The Pope of Youth has told us tc become more Christlike in ou: daily living, to have a greater in- terest in the Church and her af- fairs, and to pray for him and our- selves.
