Shop Constructing plans and draft learning to operate new machines, tools, and other implements of the various crafts and trades, and facing 51 the challenge of building a picnic table are all part of taking a course in Industrial Arts. lnstructed by Mr. Grelson, teacher of Industrial Arts and Mechanical Drawing, boys are trained in preparation for later vocational schools and making a living among machines and industry.

Mrs. Boeing watches as sophomores prepare soup. Home Economics Home Ec. provides the opportunity for future homemakers of America to demonstrate newly acquired skills in the art of design and Culinery ability. Though once in a while there is the unmistakable scent of something burning, their efforts usually result with something mouthwatering, provided, ofcourse, one is able to overlook a few unidentifiable items. Physical Education Physical Education is more than playing games, running races, and getting together three times a week. lt is competing, learning, coordinating and developing physically and socially.
