Math Plato once described the mathematician as being one who is incapable of reasoning. Sister Helen describes the good mathematician as being one who is lazy. The students at St. Agnes describe their mathematician as being capable and determined. St. Agnes has always had a well-rounded Math program. This year the Math Department has added something new to its curriculum. Freshmen now have the opportunity to become better acquainted with algebraic rule by attending the pre-algebra class.
