Marilyn Tierney, Mike Lamatsch, James lmre, Mike Mahoney, Terry Lewis, Carol Christopherson, Mary Helen lllacik, Cathy Walsh, Karen Ordell, Bernard jeska, ,Iohn Freeman, Mary Tahnk, Kathy Horan. Robert Paquctte, and Nancy Koubie. Merit Maxine Bannick, Michael Kavanaugh, Barbara Lethert, Helen Mottl, John Stephanie, and Ronald Schwartzhauer. Besides capturing First Honors in the Catholic- State Debate Tourney. the group placed first in the NFL District Tournament. Individual honors came to Pauline Ruhbelke who placed first in the Extem- pore Speech and was given a trophy for being out- standing speaker in the Catholic Debate Tourna- ment. ln the Student Congresses. which is another ae- tivity of NFL. Ann Meilinn and Pauline ltubbelke were nominated as delegates to the National Stu- dent Congress to be held in Tulsa. Oklahoma: Mary Ackerman was nominated as delegate to the Na- tional House.
