The choosing of a theme is an im- portant decision because so much of the later writing and layout planning is determined by it. Copy itself becomes a chore when staff members have lost that first, fine, careless enthusiasm. A trip to the printer's gave us an in- sight into some of the technical problems needing to be faced. We grew to appreciate, too, the efforts of our business staff in getting in enough money to finance our ven- ture.
