Glass QOH!! WE, the ambitious Class of 1937 of St. Agnes High School, situated in Springfield in the State of Missouri, being of sound body and or as sane mind as possible after much laboring for four years, do this fifteenth day of May make this last Testament willing to those students who are to come after us the fol- lowing scholastic possessions. FIRST ITEM: To the Faculty we bequeath our appreciation of their time spent to equip us with sufficient knowledge to help us to meet and to overcome the difficulties of our future life. SECOND ITEM: To the school we leave our- selves, the Alumni, the first of St. Agnes. THIRD ITEM: To the Class of '38 we be- queath the memories of our days as seniors with the hope that they will enjoy them as much as we have. Maxine Vienhage leaves her gay dancing spirit to Harriet Rettig. Joe Bel bequeaths his height to Joe Smith. Rosemary Hruska imparts her wide use of speech to Mary Imelda Brown. Joe Newton shares his knack for teasing with Bill Ginison. Lois Parker bequeaths her hair and blonde fairness to Dorothy Chambers. Louis Lindberg wills his good nature and

pared for the final and most important year. September 1936 we felt important as the future first graduates of the new Saint Agnes High School, which had at last been realized through the efforts of Father Hally, our beloved pastor. Under the capable supervision of Father Hally, Father McNamara, and the Sisters, we delved deeper into our books to attain higher honors in this our last year. Maxine Vienhage, Ed Duggan, and Louis Lindberg came backg Rose- mary Hruska and Joe Newton also joined us. We thoroughly enjoyed our Get Acquainted Party and the social sponsored by the Blessed Virgin Sodality. After slaving for months on candy sales, the girls finally succeeded in obtain- ing enough money to buy sweat suits for the boys' basketball team. Their greatest triumph, however, was the card party, the proceeds of which were sufficient to convert the attic into a sorority room for the girls. All talk now is of the Year Book, which is to be Saint Agnes' first. We have been unusually busy the last few months having pictures made, securing patrons, and gathering data for the Annual. The two outstanding social activities of the year are yet to come-the Senior-Junior Prom which is to be held on May 18 at the Colonial Hotel, and the school picnic. Then last, but by no means least, comes the day toward which we have been striving for four years. On Sunday, May 30, when we receive our diplomas, the last chapter in our high school history will be completed. -LOIS PARKER.

pleasant disposition to Bud Dobyns. Mary Frances Pollak transfers her terrifying driving speed to Clara O'Rielly. Edward Duggan leaves his ability as an artist and his witty nonsense to Joe Murney. Harry Gabriel bestows his convincing voice as salesman to Ben Hennessy. With my Alma Mater I share the memories of my many happy days spent here. The Faculty we appoint as our executors. In accordance with the ancient custom, and in testi- mony whereof, we do affix our seal. Signed this fifteenth day of May, in the year of our Lord, nineteen hundred and thirty-seven. THE SENIOR CLASS By: Marie Wissbaum, '37.
