DEDICATIO This year we dedicate our yearbook to Mr. Mauro Lamagna, who has de- voted himself unseliishly to the betterment of St. Agnes. Mr. Lamagna has conducted his heavy schedule as Guidance Counselor and Varsity basketball coach with amazing aptitude. At all times he has been willing to lend a hand, make suggestions, or clear up a student's difficulty. Mr. Lamagna entered St. Agnes when the present senior class arrived for their first taste of high school life, and it is the same class that is dedicating their yearbook to him. Ever since his arrival, Mr. Lamagna has helped to instill in us a desire for learning and righteousness. It is our hope that this dedication will express our sincerest gratitude for all we have received from his hands.

AGNES You can talk of great schools of the nation, Schools high in respect and renown, But there's none that can cause the sensation, As where St. Agnes, boys are found. Theylre the pride of this fine generation, Young men, strong in both spirit and mind. In this era of moral deflation, Their equal you never will find. Competition? They canlt be defeated, There's groans of despair at their name, From honour, they refuse to be cheated. O, all of New York knows their fame. If there's work to be done, they are ready, There's nothing on earth they won't try: They're industrious, honest, and steady And rather than give up, they'd die. They're as proud as the bold Alexander, As valiant as Hector of Troy, Firm in purpose as Cato the Elder, And daring as tricky Rob Roy.
