The triangle, a three-sided geometric figure, whose vortex rises toward God was chosen as the symbol of the close union between pastor, teacher, student and parents. Only through the wholehearted willing cooperation of each unit can there be strength, progress and a realization of the ideal. The lighthouse brings out the Dying on the Cross, Our Lord gave to the world a new mother, the Blessed Virgin Mary. Per Mariam Ad Je-sum is the motto of the Marists and of their students. Every good work, all efforts and each sign of progress are consecrated to her. Through Mary we touch eternity, we reach unto God, our Father. three adult forces whose example stands as a dauntless force against the storms of life. lt's beaming light shows the way like the brilliant beacon of wise counsel. Dedicated to fulfilling the awe- some responsibility of educating a child, the parent exerts every judi- cious effort to provide his son with whatever will lead him to happi- ness, here and hereafter.

In every phase of his life, the student is encouraged and guided by his parents. The parents sacrifice time, talent and money for the complete education of their son. In religion, the students wiLh the service of devoted priests realize the all-important backbone of Catholic School education. Together they follow the way of Christ. Teacher and parent confer regularly to resolve the difhculties of the student. They consider his progress or his failures, the better to undestand their charge and give him the necessary guidance.
