knowing how tar I could go and what I could get away with, l knew nothing. I was ushered into junior year by a big, tall Southerner, Brother Ignatius. The other juniors once again had Brother Denis. I found the new Brothers had some new and startling methods ot teaching. I suddenly became very word cone scious and it was not unusual to find me tearing up news- papers during study period hunting tor vocab research words. I found that the majority ot the class had decreed that certain subjects were perfect tor eating lunch. The teachers agreed, and set up a cover charge of 50C for all dinners. Soon it was discovered that it was cheaper to eat during lunch time. Brother Denis again took the Field Day Championship with his 3A class. Meanwhile in 3B, a class paper was being born, which would soon lead to the rebirth of the Stag . MacNarnara made basketball history for Saint Agnes, and the entire school basked in his reflected glory. This was the year also when George Wright won the S'IO0,000 prize on TV. Intra-mural softball was experimented with, and proved a huge success. I marched up the Avenue on a cloudy March day but my heart was singing for this year there were no cries ot Hey freshman or Lousy sophomorem ringing in my ears. The tests were not quite so diflicult, but strangely enough, WILLIAM R.
